Jakob and his best friend, Andrew are autistic and apraxic. Their speech is unreliable.

​

Recently, with the help of an experienced communication partner, they’ve become able to communicate openly by spelling words one letter at a time on a keyboard.

​

That partner is Julie Sando from Autistically Inclined in California.

​

Both Jakob and Andrew can now answer any question that is asked of them.

​

Their entire world has opened up.

​

They want to speak directly to other non-speakers, their  families, teachers, and therapists.

​

They want others to understand that non-speakers have so much to say.  They want to explain what apraxia is and how it affects them.  They want to help others like them find their voice.

​

Julie is coming to Morrow, Ohio to spell with them.  They are inviting you to come watch the process and ask them questions.

​

Come see them spell on Saturday, February 3 from 11-1.
